Hey Nate, I found ur blog because I tired of watching "Desperate Living" and eating Tostitos. So, now I'm reading it, and I wonder if u'll actually see these comments I shall make. lemme know next time u catch me on AIM. Anyways, I'm not sure if u know about the movie version of Battle Royale which i liked a lot more before I could get it with subtitles. Now i'm curious about the book.

Lacuna Coil wise, yay! finally we like the same music! I think their latest CD is awsome too, i saw them live before i heard the music and the DM cover slayed me too.

And of course, you leave the book on the coffee table, right where it can tempt me on a regular basis as I pass by. ;)

Ah well... I did want to read it sometime. Since I figured you and I will both enjoy reading it, I thought it was a good buy on your part. Of course though, the book is still tempting me, even though I'm still in the middle of book three of Wheel of Time and still have tons of writing to do myself. Argh! Too much to do, too little time.

As for the U.S. being some sort of Mecca for Oriental teens, well, I think it's just human nature to think the "grass is greener on the other side".

Anyway, maybe I will just read a few words of the book, since it's still tempting me (lying all by its lonesome on the coffee table... ah, the life of a book!)
